Military Locknuts
China Stainless Steel Screws has been a leader in locknut sales since 1948. China Stainless Steel Screws purchased a locknut manufacturer, Steloc Fastener Corporation, in its early years and began producing parts for the China Government. All products produced by China Stainless Steel Screws conform and/or exceed specifications called out by MIL-N-25027, the general military specification for self-locking nuts.
MIL-N-25027 covers general requirements and each specific MS part number has further specifications, all of which we test for approval on each lot manufactured. The MS locknut series we produce are MS21044N, MS21083N and MS21078-3. We also supply locknuts to M45913 in both grades 5 & 8.
China Stainless Steel Screws is also QPL approved by the Naval Testing Laboratory for locknuts. We have supplied the government with MS Locknuts in quantities that exceed twenty-five million since our approval.
China Stainless Steel Screws was the very first licensee of Elastic Stop Nut Corp (ESNA). We use virgin DuPont Zytel 101 Nylon(Yellow) for our inserts and produce to ESNA’s tight tolerances.

Both China Stainless Steel Screws, Inc. and our machine shop, China Metal Werks LLC are registered with the Office of Defense Trade Controls, Compliance and Registration Division in relation to Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
